I have chosen the name Ciel+Terre to signify the necessary and beneficial alignment between sky and earth to my practice of massage, for the giver as well as the receiver. Deeply anchored and rooted in the ground, the spine straight along the sky / earth axis, I always seek the right posture that allows me to seek that right contacting, listening and touching. In Taoist philosophy, “man, sovereign of himself, stands between sky and earth in the place of the heart”. (Lou Yan, Chinese Psychoenergetics Practical Manual). Beyond gesture and the technique of massage I seek to position myself at the best of myself, allowing the contacted body to do the same, self-regulating and releasing tensions and encysted emotions…
